*sigh* No questions about it. The lazy blogging bug(S) took residence in me yet again. How you frequent bloggers do it? What booster, insecticide or disinfectant come highly recommended? Guarantee no overdosing here.
Now on with food.
I am a fast fan of Mee Bandung. I crave the thick tomato-ey broth very often. Pity that although we are surrounded by many Malay roadside stalls and spruced up air-conditioned cafes, a good bowl is not easy to come by. Sad bowls come with watered down broth, measly ingredients usually with the yellow noodles retaining strong alkaline taste. YUCKS. Personally, the latter is the worst. Why don't they do like the Chinese hawkers do ie par-cook or just dip the noodles into boiling water before cooking?
After many disappointed tries, I finally found a satisfactory bowl here:-

Phitoy is a stink-o bean fan so he had to have this. Oh how I 'suffered' in the name of love! Steamed White Rice with Hot Spicy Shrimps and Petai
Hehe. A crumpled bill due to being almost forgotten in the abyss of my handbag:-
No picture but the Teh Tarik here was real frothy and fragrant.
Just in case, this Warung Santai outlet is at Tesco Ampang, along the Middle Ring Road 2 between Ampang and Pandan Indah.
