Sweet Pearl Corns

  • Undressed the corns (self is optional)
  • Steam for 5 minutes
  • Melt a thin layer of butter on the kernels
  • Gnaw.
Cost:- RM10 for 7 sweet stalks.
Market:- A lorry parked at the entrance of Kea Farm, Brinchang, Cameron Highlands, Pahang

  3. i loved this corn. best eaten raw or *ding* in the microwave for just 2 mins! eat it NAKED hehehe... it's so expensive in KL :( for a big one it's about RM3!!!!

  6. I can have corn for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. My favourite way is steamed and slathered with butter but it's usually too unhealthy so I only hv it steamed...

  10. OMIGOD, i've been raped!!! i paid RM10 for THREE of these babies, in the flea market at the curve, where they also sell camerons strawberries. surely the bus fare for corn cant be THAT much. i LURVE pearl corn.

  11. This type of Sweet Pearl Corns is being market in Hong Kong under "Grace Cup" label and is sold at HK$22.90 for 2 stalks. The original price is supposed to be HK$29.90. Available from Park n Shop, APITA, etc

  14. kok, 7 for RM10 only at Camerons Highland which will cost about RM70for petrol & RM40 for toll to drive from KL. Think you better enjoy the corns over there.

    anyway, i'm off to camerons on monday, so i shall load the entire boot of the mpv with pearl corn....whatever space is left after the kids luggage. can probably fit 4 ears of corn.
