Idle driving: Semenyih, Broga & beyond .. Part 1

A continuation from here.

We drove uphill along Jalan Sungai Lalang (where Restoran 52 is) to take a look at the Semenyih Reservoir.
Hmm nothing much.

On the way down, we stopped by the Hutan Simpan Sungai Tekala ie Tekala River Forest Reserve. The camping facility next to the open carpark, opposite the main entrance.Hyperactive Water Urchins splashing in lazy brown stream. Star studded steps crowned by greens leading upwards to ... a gushing waterfall. All for an entrance fee of RM1.00 per person
We were not prepared to get wet so after several gulps of misty air, snapped a few photographs, fed a number of mosquitoes we were back in the car. Next stop, Broga.

Oops I have to run again. I’m in the midst of ‘pursuing’ a Cantonese series revolving around Mooncake families. More grand schemes aim to destroy a happy family of 10 are being hatched by the ex wife’s sister and ex-husband's new wife. Oh, do return again for my Seremban discovery ok!

Please excuse me. *lodge self tightly on couch armed with DVD remote*

Mooncake families? I dread to ask what sort of dramas they get up to during the off seasons. :P

More waterfall adventures, please! :D

life for beginners, earlier drama revolves around 2 abalone generations. Obviously you r not a fan of Canto drama series. Good for you. Like chcolate candy like cigarette I know they're bad for me but ..

worldwindows, only intention was to drive out of the city. And we did. =)

cumi&ciki, sharp eyes you have.

Moonlight Resonance ah? hahaha ... why so late only watch one?
my whole family were glued to the screen back then.

even I was tempted to sacrifice some precious time in HK cz the final few episodes were being shown that time. hehe ...

anyway, waterfall again?! just read FBB's post.

since you have mentioned that the newspapers seem to be the driving force driving people all the way somewhere , then now we know no wonder for more than 50 years we have been in the wilderness !
but then its good for this kind of rustic backward places with some outstanding food ( with no paper no water toilets ) , again against the backdrop of the current fiasco over the rampant corruption of all things Tourism Malaysia. Its good that your coverage is outside all those squeaky hongky japany cafes !

j2kfm, I no astro so need to wait for kind souls to lend me.
Btw, FBB's waterfall is way bigger.

backstreetgluttons, hopefully such novelty places will be well maintained. Scratch hope. We need prayers. AND no talking of disneyland fantasies.
