Fast Food Fish Head Restaurant, Sri Petaling Kuala Lumpur

Been there several times for lunch but usually on weekends where parking & the crowd is more manageable. This restaurant specialises in wild river fishes that are caught in Pahang state. I have no idea what fish was ordered. It was claimed to be one 1 of the bestsellers which sounded like 'Nim-yue-chiu-phai-cheng' roughly translated as 'Nim fish steamed in the restaurant's special way'. Price quoted was RM68 per kg!

Only the fish head was served to us. Noted that it has a kind of 'tentacles' near its mouth. Pity I forgot to take a picture of its teeth. There were at least 6 tight rows of small sharp teeth. The black piece seen on the lower left of the photo is not black fungus but the fish's skin. Yes, it was smooth with no scales. The flesh? Most succulent! No muddy smell. Excellent stuff!
The above potato greens stir fried with garlic was OK. Plate of mixed fruits (papaya, pineapple & honeydew) was complimentary.

Total bill was:- Add:
Restaurant Fast Food Fish Head, 58, Jalan Radin Tengah, 57000 Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur.
Tel: 03-90585397
In the middle of the row of shophouses facing the new The Store Supermarket.
