Pork Chop Bun at Cafe Tai Lei Loi Kei, Macau

We spent only 17 hours in Macau. Since most meals are taken care of (ahem, as mentioned previously ) in THE world famous Pork Chop Bun. Ordered 2 buns to share between the 4 of us. This was my share. The other half had been promptly gobbled up. Good portion for a yummy snack.Call me old fashion but I just prefer gassy soft drinks in glass bottles. Anyone knows why it's usually cans in Malaysia but bottles overseas? However on that day, I had 'Nai-cha' ie Milk Tea instead. Weather was sizzling but the way tea was served was too interesting to resist. Hot tea came in a pot, evaporated milk in the glass, sugar in containers on table. Mix it yourself.Buildings around the bustling stall.Add: Tai Lei Loi Kei 大利來記咖啡室
Largo Governador Tamagnini Barbosa,
Taipa, Macau.

Pork Chop Bun starts selling from 3pm onwards.

I just love how half the names are in Portuguese. The Devil asked me, "If the ang moh dunno Chinese or Portuguese, die lar!"

LOL

Selba, it's just tea but providing the homely contraption was interesting.

J2Kfm, we were a wee early so managed to grab a good table. Supposedly the choc drink was new but didn't see any of the patrons having it.

Life for Beginners, if not for those Portugese names, I keep thinking it's part of China. =P
Even had to be reminded by the immigration to show passport when we arrived & leave. =P =P

Soft drinks in bottles are waaayyy classier than cans!! On the flipside though, I'd probably end up drinking more if they were widely bottled here as well, so they can stay in cans!
