Krispy Kreme Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta

Bet you are aware that the famous Krispy Kreme has made its Malaysian debut at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur.

You had your fix yet? No? Are you like me? Not a fan? I'm old school. Only a fan of plain rings sprinkled, not glazed with sugar.I had it only once. Over in Jakarta. No queue, no crowd. Practically had the whole floor to ourselves.

Choc Cheese (upfront) and Mango Kreme
Verdict: Good soft texture but teeth (whole set) aching sweet.

Bill:- IDRp7,800 (approximately RM2.60) each doughnut.
How’s the price comparison between both countries?

Looks like it's my premeditated strategy to ride on the current hype of the most talkabout snack to reach our shores.
In truth, I forgot to post this earlier. *shy*.

Hehehe.. you are right! No queue at all here at the outlets in Jakarta, I even wonder why they still survive until today.

p.s: I'm also not a donut fan.

Sean, welcome.

No loss though esp the weak mango taste.

Selba, noticed the donut making machine was sitiing idle. Cannot see demo.

I like Dunkin Donuts for its dough but not its conservative approach.

that's the fun thing about blogging. once in a while, food aligns itself to your universal and you'll know that it's the right time to blog about a certain makan. what me talking here? fateful coincidences, i guess..hehe

mimid3vils, personally I won't buy that again. Those on your blog look so much more sumptuous.

backStreetGluttons, this lady no like those over sweet rings but dark companions .. coffee or otherwise .. ;>

worldwindows, notice Dunkin is achanging. Vivid colours (food and outlets), cheerful settings, better promotions.

Nic(KHKL), TQ. More justification for my sloooow posts. Muax.

Hazza, so true. Nowadays nite market bakeries are getting more sophisticated in their set up with big ovens churning our fresh decorative buns.

sc, u like the mango? I only managed 1 bite. =,(

ai wei, hmm maybe when the craze fizzle out, they'll hold attractive promos?

Aching sweet? Then no difference from the ones we get here lor? :P

jason, guess that's why most recommend to have it with strong black coffee.
