Tummies got lucky at Nigel & Allan's

Yahoo! In theory, jump for joy jump for joy.

Fact, due to the pull of gravity (ahem) bend knees and straightened bend knees and straightened.

I can make it to a fellow food blogger’s pot luck party!
Punch air above head, done in theory and fact.

What to make, what to bring? I was already late and Phitoy insisted on coming along too. No choice. I cheated and had been praying fervently for those great cooks to forgive me…

Look at the spread, boys and girls!

Vietnamese Springrolls by Kusahi Keat.Wow, these tightly wrapped babies were packed with minced pork, minced prawn, crab meat, finely sliced turnip and carrot. These did the ‘now you see them, now you don’t’ act.

Mieng Kam by Teckiee.Oh me oh my! My favourite Thai appetizer. Homemade. Teckieemade. Such generous portions. We were still munching on it after desserts. Once you pop you just can’t stop (stolen tagline).

Vegetables Acar from Lyrical Lemongrass.Thank you so much for letting me packed this home. It was even more superb after 2 days in the fridge! Super brilliant, tummythoz! *pat self*

Steamed Yam Cake from Wmw. Did you pass all the raving compliments to your mom? Oh when’s the cooking class for all huh? Surely you will require a non-participant to try the attempts and give impartial opinion, right? It will be my pleasure to offer my humble services.

Satay (BBQ Skewered Meat) from Jason.I missed this as I was busy photographing the other dishes which were fighting for attention on the overloaded table. These were gone at warp speed. So, where you bought huh?

Yellow Glutinous Rice & Curry Chicken from NJoe.Homemade. Just not at NJoe’s home. Yes, bought but like NJoe insisted, the vendor made it at her home so still homemade-wat!

Beef Rendang by Boolicious. This spoiled my occasional breakfast option. How and where to find a nasi lemak stall with such tasty dry curried beef that matches up?!

Sarawak Laksa by Nigel. Want to torture yourself? Look at this tummy yummy bowl.My bowl. My first bowl. =P

Vinegar Pork Trotters by Jackson. His mom made this. No wonder he is living in food heaven!

Durian Ice Cream by Kusahi Keat.Yes, new flogger here is a definite keeper for future pot luck gatherings! How was it? Handsome Jackson walloped almost half the tub! *tabik*

Tapai (fermented tapioca) Pavlova by hosts, Nigel and Allan. The wafer thin base was prepared beforehand.See Master Allan at work.Piping the meringue layer. Too fast, can slow-motion a bit?Oh like that is it.Spoon in diced Kiwis and Strawberries.Topped off with dollops of Tapai. Lo and behold the delicious masterpieces!Hands were already grabbing at them from the kitchen table.

Durian Tiramisu by FatBoyBakes.Another awesome creation! If you were here before you would most probably read the raving comments when I posted this wicked cake‘s debut.

Sangria (Wine+fruit juice+sliced fruits) by Unkaleong. He supplied the liquids but I think the hosts mixed the additive cocktail. Lethal to me as I just got thirstier and thirstier no matter how much I drink. =P

What I brought? Tada!*shy* Not much imagination but at least it was quite well received. I hope.

Err.. am I still eligible for the next pot luck?
